About Us

Trailogy was founded by Jessica Bowers, a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the visionary behind Waypoint Behavioral Health Solutions, The Real Thinking Parent, and Basecamp Behavioral Consulting.

Over 20 years ago, Jessica embarked on her journey into motherhood. Just a few years later, her eldest child was diagnosed with autism. In the years that followed, Jessica’s family grew to include six children, two of whom are neurodivergent. The weight of receiving that first diagnosis shaped every aspect of her life, from her parenting style to her career choices. Motivated by a deep need to create a safer, more inclusive world for neurodivergent individuals and their families, she dedicated herself to making meaningful change.

Initially, Jessica used her background in special education and curriculum development to create a successful homeschool program for her neurodivergent and neurotypical children. As she saw the positive impact these strategies had on her family, she recognized that other parents, too, could benefit from the same tools and skills. What started as a personal mission soon grew into a professional one.

With a Master’s in Special Education and a Doctorate in Psychology, Jessica combines clinical expertise with real-world experience. Her unique perspective allows her to offer a balanced, research-based, and compassionate approach to autism and other neurodivergent conditions.

In 2015, Jessica opened the doors of Waypoint Behavioral Health Solutions, aiming to provide holistic, trauma-informed care for individuals who desperately needed it. She remains a fierce advocate for trauma-informed care across the lifespan, believing that truly supporting the whole person—emotionally, psychologically, and behaviorally—leads to the best outcomes.

As her journey progressed, Jessica also founded Basecamp Behavioral Consulting, offering training and coaching to parents, business owners, and executives. Her mission here is to simplify the complexities of neuroscience, helping people understand how the brain works in a way that everyone can grasp—whether they’re parents or professionals.

Jessica's vision didn't stop there. Over time, she recognized another pressing need: it wasn’t enough to offer neurodivergent-affirming care; she needed to help families before they encountered harmful, trauma-inducing therapy. She wanted to empower families to plan proactively, instead of reacting to crisis.

This desire led to the creation of Trailogy—a company that supports families on their journey before they’re in crisis, helping them navigate the complexities of neurodivergence with intention, empathy, and expertise.

Jessica currently resides in Denton, Texas, with her supportive husband, Tim, and their eight children. Together, they enjoy spending quality time with family, friends, and the vibrant community they cherish deeply. Jessica and Tim love to laugh, dance, play, explore their city, and travel the world. Their most recent adventure took them to Canada, and you can often find them enjoying live music, especially at concerts by Brandi Carlile and Chris Stapleton.
